FREE PATTERN: How to Sew a Basic Tote

This following is a tote pattern I designed for Mint Studio's Crafting with Purpose program.

Our plan for 2018 is to sew tote bags for the UCSD Moores Cancer Center, and these totes will be filled with comfort items for newly diagnosed patients - items like books, journals, toiletries, head scarves, and other small tokens to inspire hope and encouragement in those who receive these "Care Bags".

I'm sharing the pattern in the hopes that others may try the pattern and provide feedback on the instructions and assembly process. The pattern is designed to be simple enough for new sewists to complete in about two-three hours. Please take a look and thank you for reading!
